As many of you have seen, we're working on adding interior design services to the site. If you don’t know me, this may seem like a huge leap, but I’ve been an interior designer for almost 30 years! It’s part of my DNA, and it’s something that I really love.
When I started making more artwork and repeat patterns, it felt like a natural progression and I wanted to keep my interior design clients manageable. I have kept a small, steady group of clients for several years, but I’m ready to open things up again, only a little differently than I’ve worked in the past.
In the coming weeks we are going to add design consulting services, both online and in person, plus we’ll also add a virtual room design option. This is something we have been doing for corporate clients since 2008! The leaps in technology and services to support this option make it much easier now than it has ever been– for designers and clients.
One of the driving forces behind this decision is that so many of our clients have a “we can take it from here” attitude and enjoy the process of the room coming together, which also allows them to add their own personal touches. The interior design world is much more accessible now, and we want to adjust to meet the market. Would you like to help us make our offer even better? What about the art & pattern design?
Nothing will change! Many designers balance licensing and interior design, which is how the studio has been running for many years. The big change is that it will now be on one website, in one shop, which feel much more true to what our studio is really about: making life more beautiful one room and one product at a time.
