Dreaming of: Visual Comfort Lighting

Visual Comfort is one of my go-to brands for lighting. When a client wants to create a lighting focal point and has the budget, I always opt for Visual Comfort. I invested in several pieces when we renovated several years ago and it was worth it!

Visual Comfort is having a sale right now (Memorial Day 2025) for 20% off. If you've had your eye on any of these gems, head over and get them now.

In my kitchen I have 2 of the Chatham Large Lanterns

Even with all of my years of experience, I was a little nervous about buying them without seeing these lanterns in person. I knew I loved the look, and I had measured for size multiple times. Just as I expected, I love them. To this day, years later, they make the kitchen. Think over an island, in a stairway, or even over a dining table. These are classic (Ralph Lauren Collection) and will stand the test of time.

I also got the Renwick Small Sphere for my library in burnished silver. Here is a photo taken while the painters were still working in the room:

The Lorford Small Smoke Bell Lantern with Mercury Glass. I'm looking for a place to install this!

Sometimes your space requires a semi-flush mount, and great looking ones are hard to find. The Rosehill Semi-Flush would bring elegance to a small bar area, a closet, or a hallway.
