This water-fast brush pen by Pentel is a studio favorite. Quick sketches can take watercolor without bleeding.
These water soluble crayons have such vibrant color that goes down almost like paint. One of Jenny's first supplies as a teen, this one is always a go-to.
QOR Watercolors by Golden are both in the studio and in Jenny's travel set. They are vibrant and very high quality. Jenny prefers pans, so she makes her own with the QOR tubes.

When you want a more precise addition to your watercolors, use Derwent Watercolor Pencils. Where Caran d'Ache goes down like paint, these keep a tighter line.
Escoda Brushes are the best of the best. When you are ready to make an investment and understand what a high quality brush can do for your painting, start here.
