Happening in the studio
If you follow along on Instagram, I'm sure you've seen me talking about the textile and wallcovering collection I have in development. I thought I'd give a quick update and answer some FAQ's.
After my first round of samples, I realized that I wanted to develop a few new designs that could really pull the collection together. It needed a freshness that I wasn't getting from the designs I already have. So now I'm busy painting in the studio and creating new repeats. I'll resample a few new designs soon and re-evaluate after that.

Here are some answers to a few frequently asked questions:
I thought you were planning to launch the collection this fall?
I was. See my update above. Until I'm super proud of it, I'm not putting anything out in the world. That being said, I plan for the collection to be ready on or before April 2027, when new lines launch at High Point. I'll start small and build the line over time.

Why did you decide to do this? Aren't you an interior designer?
My background is varied. I am an artist, an NCIDQ certified interior designer, and an industrial designer. I've designed spaces for over 25 years and now do hourly consulting and limited in person projects. I also license my artwork to companies in the home, stationery, and gifting markets. A natural next step is for me to develop my repeat patterns into a textile and wallcovering collection for home.

What will make your collection different?
Everything I do is rooted in how design makes you feel. My collection will be steeped in story, and my goal will be to evoke emotion and memories, but with an eye on keeping things modern and now. I want to make collections that people love, and that help them tell their own story at home. Pattern is one of the best ways to do this.
Will we be able to buy the collection on your website?
Absolutely! We are working out the details of consumer and trade accounts while the collection is in development. Stay tuned and subscribe to our email to be among the first to know.
Will you still license your artwork?
Of course! The more paint and put into repeat, the more I want to license and get out into the world. If your company is interested in licensing, please contact the studio.
